WebSep 26, 2012 · I'm interested in comparison comments from anyone who has ridden both the Harley Tallboy and the Sundowner. I have the Tallboy now, primarily because the old lady is tall at 5-10. WebApr 12, 2024 · The hammock will set you up about an inch. I ride usually day trips and this seat is a must for me. I'm 5'9" and weigh 275. The stock seat gives me a back ache after 1/2 hour of riding and butt goes numb after an hour or so. I was hesitant to spend $$$ for one and found mine on ebay for $250. Best money I spent yet on my bike.

Insanely comfortable and "soft", and with a nice reach to the ground (I have a 32 inseam). The only negatives were the passenger section slopes slightly forward, and the seat is somewhat "flat", with no bucket feel. With the sundowner I ride a bit higher and set further back on my Harley which gives my legs more of a forward position this feels much better than being tuck in.
