These changes may be considered as abberations of normal breast involution and not part of a disease process. WebHistologically, breast PA is similar to its salivary gland counterpart (fig 1B). Its low power appearance is characterised by glandular structures and anastomosing cords of epithelial cells immersed in myxoid stroma, surrounded by a fibrous pseudocapsule that can be invaded or interrupted by nests of neoplastic cells.
